| Temporary Augmentation of Express Trains | |
To cater to the increased passenger demand, the following trains will be temporarily augmented with additional coaches as detailed below.
1. Train No. 22667/22668 Nagercoil – Coimbatore - Nagercoil Superfast Express will be temporarily augmented with One Sleeper Class Coach Ex. Nagercoil from 01st August to 29th September, 2026& Ex. Coimbatore from 31st July to 28th September, 2026
ØThe revised composition for the above trains after the augmentation will be 1- AC First Class cum AC Two Tier Coach, 1- AC Two Tier Coach, 2- AC Three Tier Coaches, 14- Sleeper Class Coaches, 4- General Second Class Coaches, 1- Second Class Coach (Divyangjan Friendly) & 1- Luggage cum Brake Van
2. Train No. 16780/16779 Rameswaram – Tirupati - Rameswaram Express will be temporarily augmented with One AC Three Tier Coach Ex. Rameswaram from 02nd August, 2026 to 29th September, 2026 & Ex. Tirupati from 03rd August to 30th September, 2026
ØThe revised composition for the above trains after the augmentation will be 4- AC Three Tier Coaches, 8- Sleeper Class Coaches, 4- General Second Class Coaches, 1- Second Class Coach (Divyangjan Friendly) & 1- Luggage cum Brake Van
3. Train No. 22621/22622 Rameswaram – Kanniyakumari – Rameswaram Superfast Express will be temporarily augmented with one AC Three Tier Coach Ex. Rameswaram from 01st August to 28th September, 2026 & Ex. Kanniyakumari from 02nd August to 29th September, 2026
ØThe revised composition for the above trains after the augmentation will be 4- AC Three Tier Coaches, 8- Sleeper Class Coaches, 4- General Second Class Coaches, 1- Second Class Coach (Divyangjan Friendly) & 1- Luggage cum Brake Van
4. Train No. 16053/16054 Dr MGR Chennai Central – Tirupati- Dr MGR Chennai Central Saptagiri Express will be temporarily augmented with One Chair Car Coach Ex. Dr MGR Chennai Central & Ex. Tirupati from 01st August to 30th September, 2026
ØThe revised composition for the above trains after the augmentation will be 1- AC Chair Car Coach, 11- Chair Car Coaches, 4- General Second Class Coaches, 1- Second Class Coach (Divyangjan Friendly) & 1- Luggage cum Brake Van
5. Train No. 16057/16058 Dr MGR Chennai Central – Tirupati - Dr MGR Chennai Central Saptagiri Express will be temporarily augmented with One Chair Car Coach Ex. Dr MGR Chennai Central & Ex. Tirupati from 01st August to 30th September, 2026
