Eastern Railway has notified for Short Termination/Change in Origination of Train Services due to Non Interlocking work for commissioning of Platform -24 at Howrah Link Cabin as give below:

Change in Origination of Train Service:

·Train No.12839 Howrah – Dr MGR Chennai Central Mail scheduled to leave Howrah at 23.45 hrs o­n 24^th July, 2026 will originate from Santragachi. The train will be partially cancelled between Howrah and Santragachi

·Train No.12841 Howrah – Dr MGR Chennai Central Coromandel Express scheduled to leave Howrah at 15.10 hrs o­n 25^th & 26^th July, 2026 will originate from Shalimar. The train will be partially cancelled between Howrah and Santragachi

·Train No.12663 Howrah – Tiruchchirappalli Superfast Express scheduled to leave Howrah at 17.35 hrs o­n 26^th July, 2026 will originate from Santragachi. The train will be partially cancelled between Howrah and Santragachi

Short Termination of Train Services:

·Train No.12840 Dr MGR Chennai Central – Howrah Superfast Mail scheduled to leave Dr MGR Chennai Central at 19.00 hrs o­n 23^rd & 24^th July, 2026 will be short terminated at Santragachi. The train will be partially cancelled between Santragachi and Howrah

·Train No.12842 Dr MGR Chennai Central – Howrah Coromandel Express scheduled to leave Dr MGR Chennai Central at 07.00 hrs o­n 24^th & 25^th July, 2026 will be short terminated Shalimar. The train will be partially cancelled between Santragachi and Howrah

·Train No.12666 Kanniyakumari – Howrah Superfast Express scheduled to leave Kanniyakumari at 05.50 hrs o­n 25^th July, 2026 will be short terminated at Santragachi. The train will be partially cancelled between Santragachi and Howrah
