| LHB Coaches for Kaveri Express | |
South Western Railway has notified for conversion of following trains from conventional rakes to Linke Hofmann Busch (LHB) rakes which aims to enhance passenger safety and comfort effective from the dates given below.
1. Train No. 16021/16022 Dr MGR Chennai Central – Ashokapuram - Dr MGR Chennai Central Kaveri Express will run with LHB Coaches Ex. Dr MGR Chennai Central with effect from 30th June, 2026 and Ex. Ashokapuram with effect from 01st July, 2026
vConsequent to the conversion into LHB coaches, the composition of the above train will be revised as 1- AC First Class Coach, 2- AC Two Tier Coaches, 2- AC Three Tier Coaches, 10- Sleeper Class Coaches, 4- General Second Class Coaches, 1- Second Class Coach (Divyangjan Friendly) & 1- Luggage cum Brake Van
