Material Management Department of Thiruvananthapuram division has started functioning in the year 1990 for meeting material requirements of the division by borrowing staff from other departments under one ACOS.
तिरुवनंतपुरम मंडल के सामग्री प्रबंधन विभाग ने एक सहायक भंडार नियंत्रक के तहत अन्य विभागों से कर्मचारियों को उधार लेकर मंडल की सामग्री आवश्यकताओं को पूरा करने के लिए वर्ष 1990 में काम करना शुरू कर दिया है।
Now the Material Management department at the division has been diversified into Purchase and Sales under Senior Divisional Material Manager (Sr.DMM) with its own staff and serving user departments by timely procurement of both stock and non-stock items and disposing off scrap generated in the division. The Divisional Stores Depot is at Quilon (Kollam).
अब मंडल में सामग्री प्रबंधन विभाग अपने स्वयं के कर्मचारियों के साथ वरिष्ठ मंडल सामग्री प्रबंधक (सीनियर डी एम एम) के अधीन खरीद और बिक्री में वैविध्य होकर अपने उपयोगकर्ता विभागों के लिए स्टॉक व गैर-स्टॉक दोनों मदों का समय पर प्रापण और मंडल में उत्पन्न रद्दी माल का निपटान आदि सेवाएँ प्रदत्त कर रहा है। मंडल स्टोर्स डिपो कोल्लम में है।
