Major engineering works have been taken up for modification and improvement of Arakkonam yard. To facilitate these engineering works, changes will be made in the pattern of train services on 01.05.2018.as detailed below.
A. The following trains will be fully cancelled on 01.05.2018.
1.Train No.56001 Chennai Central – Arakkonam passenger train, scheduled to leave Chennai Central at 13.10 hrs. on 01.05.2018, will be fully cancelled.
2.Train No.56004 Chengalpattu – Arakkonam passenger train, scheduled to leave Chengalpattu at 20.25 hrs. on 01.05.2018, will be fully cancelled.
B. The following train will run on diverted route on 01.05.2018.
·Train No.56042 Puducherry – Tirupati passenger train, scheduled to leave Puducherry at 13.20 hrs. on 01.05.2018 and run via Villupuram, Chengalpattu, Kanchipuram, Arakkonam and Tiruttani, will be diverted to run via Villupuram, Tiruvannamalai, Katpadi, Melpakkam and Tiruttani.
