Due to heavy rain in the Nilgiris, boulders have fallen across the railway track in Nilgiri Mountain Railway. Earth slips have occurred and trees have also fallen, obstructing the rail line. In view of these, all train services in NMR have been cancelled on 14.12.2022, as detailed below.
Cancellation of Nilgiri Mountain Railway services on 14.12.2022
1. Train No.06136 Mettupalayam – Udagamandalam train of 14.12.2022 has been fully cancelled.
2. Train No.06137 Udagamandalam – Mettupalayam train of 14.12.2022 has been fully cancelled.
3. Train No.06141 Coonoor – Udagamandalam train of 14.12.2022 has been fully cancelled.
4. Train No.06139 Udagamandalam – Coonoor train of 14.12.2022 has been fully cancelled.
5. Train No.06143 Coonoor – Udagamandalam train of 14.12.2022 has been fully cancelled.
6. Train No.06142 Udagamandalam – Coonoor train of 14.12.2022 has been fully cancelled.
7. Train No.06138 Coonoor – Udagamandalam train of 14.12.2022 has been fully cancelled.
8. Train No.06140 Udagamandalam – Coonoor train of 14.12.2022 has been fully cancelled.
