New Sub-Inspectors and constables inducted into RPF/S.Rly.


In Railway Protection Force, Southern Railway, 61 new Sub-Inspectors and 166 constables have been newly inducted. Out of the 61 Sub-Inspectors, 42 are men and 19 are women. Similarly out of the 166 constables, 101 are men and 65 are women. The Sub-Inspectors and Constables have braved all odds during the Corona Pandemic and successfully completed their initial Training in Various Training Centers. They have been rigorously trained in both Indoor and Outdoor subjects and topics to face the upcoming challenges in Railways, viz security of Railway Property, Railway Passengers and Passenger Area.

Apart from the above, 4 women and 10 men ( Sub-Inspector cadets)  & 259 women and 137 men constable recruits  are also under going training pan India and they are likely to be inducted into the Force during June-July 2021.

The induction of these new Sub-Inspector and constables will enhance smooth operation of freight as well as passenger trains over Railway network by providing security to both, Railway property and the Passengers. It is worthwhile to mention that this time Women have been inducted into the Force in large numbers keeping in view of the security of women and Children travelling by Trains.
