SPECIAL TRAINS

The following special trains will be run to clear extra rush of passengers.

 

Special fare special train from Chennai Central to Santragachi

Train No.02842 Chennai Central – Santragachi special fare special train will leave Chennai Central at 18.20 hrs. o­n 19th, 26th -January, 02nd, 09th, 16th, & 23rd February, 2019 and reach Santragachi at 23.30 hrs. the next day.

 

Composition: AC 2-tier – 4, AC 3-tier –5, Sleeper Class –4, General Second Class –2.

 

Stoppages:Gudur, Nellore, o­ngole, Vijayawada, Rajahmundry, Duvvada, Simhachalam North, Vizianagaram, Brahmapur, Khurda Road, Bhubaneswar, Jajpur K Raod, Bhadrak, and Kharagpur.

 

Special fare special train from Tambaram to Tuticorin

Train No.06053 Tambaram – Tuticorin special fare special train will leave Tambaram at 19.15 hrs. o­n 18th January, 2019 and reach Titicorin at 07.10 hrs. the next day.

 

 

Composition:AC 3-tier – 2, Sleeper Class – 10, General Second Class – 2 & Luggage-cum-brake van – 2 coaches.

 

Stoppages:Chengalpattu, Villupuram, Vriddhachalam, Tiruchchirappalli, Dindigul, Madurai, Virudhunagar, Satur, Kovilpatti and Vanchchimaniyachchi.

 

Suvidha special train from Tuticorin to Tambaram

Train No.82608 Tuticorin - Tambaram Suvidha special will leave Tuticorin at 18.30 hrs. o­n 20th January, 2019 and reach Tambaram at 05.00 hrs. the next day.

 

 

Composition:AC 3-tier – 2, Sleeper Class – 10, General Second Class – 2 & Luggage-cum-brake van – 2 coaches.

 

Stoppages:Vanchchimaniyachchi. Kovilpatti, Satur, Virudhunagar, Madurai, Dindigul, Tiruchchirappalli, Vriddhachalam, Villupuram and Chengalpattu.

 

 

Special fare special train fromThiruvananthapuram central to Chennai Central

 

Train No.06060 Thiruvananthapuram central. – Chennai Central special train will leave Thiruvananthapuram central. at 13.45 hrs. o­n 17th January, 2019 and reach Chennai Central at 07.20 hrs. the next day.

Coach Composition:  Air-conditioned First Class-cum-AC 2-tier – 1, AC 2-tier – 2, AC 3-tier – 3, Sleeper Class – 9, General Second Class – 6 & Luggage-cum-brake van coaches -2.

Stoppages: Kollam, Kayankulam, Mavellikara, Chengannur, Tiruvalla, Kottayam, Ernakulam Town, Aluva, Thrissur, Ottapalam, Palakkad, Coimbatore, Tiruppur, Erode, Salem, Jolarpettai, Katpadi, Arakkonam and Perambur.

 

Advance reservations for above special trains

will open at 08.00 hrs o­n 15.01.2019.
