DR.E.SREEDHARAN, PRINCIPAL ADVISOR, DMRC ADDRESSES SOUTHERN RAILWAY OFFICIALS

Dr.E.Sreedharan, Principal Advisor, Delhi Metro Rail Corporation who is credited for changing the face of public transport in the country,  visited Southern Railway and delivered a guest lecture today, the 7th of January, 2019. 

Shri R.K.Kulshrestha, General Manager, Southern Railway welcomed Dr.E.Sreedharan and addressed the gathering.  General Manager stated that the lecture by emulating personality as Dr.Sreedharan will offer the much needed motivation to the Railway officials to excel in their service to the organisation.

In his inspiring lecture Dr.E.Sreedharan, known for building the Konkan railway and the Delhi Metro, emphasized o­n the importance of four things in professional life – Integrity, Punctuality, Professional competence, Accountability and social responsibility. He elaborated o­n these basic principles adhering to which will help in completion of work assigned within a stipulated time frame. While motivating Officers to attain professional competence that will enable in quick decision making he insisted that all out efforts to work as a team will lead to speedy execution of projects.

The session was well attended by Principal Heads of Departments and Senior officials of Southern Railway .Besides,  Divisional Railway Managers of all the six divisions also participated through Video Conferencing.
