Changes in the pattern of train services


South Western Railway has notified for change in the pattern of train services due to line block/power block for insertion and removal of temporary grider at KSR Bengaluru Yard at Bridge No. 867 and for insertion and removal of temporary girders between Bengaluru Cantonment – KSR Bengaluru Up and down line as detailed below:

Cancellation of Train Services:

§Train No. 12658 KSR Bengaluru – Dr MGR Chennai Central Mail leaving KSR Bengaluru at 22.40 hrs o­n 30th July, 06th and 13th August, 2024 is fully cancelled

§Train No. 12657 Dr MGR Chennai Central – KSR Bengaluru Mail leaving Dr MGR Chennai Central at 22.50 hrs o­n 31st July, 07th and 14th August, 2024 is fully cancelled

Partial Cancellation of Train Service:

§Train No. 12657 Dr MGR Chennai Central – KSR Bengaluru Mail leaving Dr MGR Chennai Central at 22.50 hrs o­n 30th July, 06th and 13th August, 2024 is fully cancelled

Diversion of Train Services:

§Train No. 11013 Lokmanya Tilak Terminus – Coimbatore Express leaving Lokmanya Tilak Terminus at 22.35 hrs o­n 29th July, 05th and 12th August, 2024 will be diverted to run viaGauribidanur, Baiyyappanahalli, SMVT Bengaluru, Baiyyappanahalli and Hosur skipping stoppages at Bengaluru East Bangalore, Bengaluru Cantonment, KSR Bengaluru and Bengaluru Cantonment. Additional stoppage will be provided at SMVT Bengaluru (21.30 (Arr)/22.00 (Dep)) for the benefit of passengers

§Train No. 16022 Mysuru – Dr MGR Chennai Central Kaveri Express leaving Mysuru at 21.00 hrs o­n 30th July, 06th and 13th August, 2024 will be diverted to run via KSR Bengaluru, Yesvantpur, Hebbal, Banaswadi, Baiyyappanahalli and Krishnarajapuram skipping stoppage at Bengaluru Cantonment

§Train No. 16021 Dr MGR Chennai Central – Mysuru Kaveri Express leaving Dr MGR Chennai Central at 21.15 hrs o­n 30th July, 06th and 13th August, 2024 will be diverted to run via Krishnarajapuram, Baiyyappanahalli, Banaswadi, Hebbal, Yesvantpur and KSR Bengaluru. Additional stoppages will be provided at Bengaluru East Bangalore and Bengaluru Cantonment
