Changes in the pattern of Train Services


In view of Disconnection & Traffic Block for facilitating engineering works at Karaikkudi, the following changes have been made in the pattern of Train Services:

Full Cancellation:

ØTrain No.16849 Tiruchchirappalli – Rameswaram Express leaving Tiruchchirappalli at 07.05 hrs o­n 19th May, 2024 is fully cancelled.

ØTrain No. 16850 Rameswaram - Tiruchchirappalli Express leaving Rameswaram at 14.35 hrs o­n 19th May, 2024 is fully cancelled

ØTrain No. 06830 Karaikkudi – Tiruchchirappalli Passenger leaving Karaikkudi at 15.30 hrs o­n 19th May, 2024 is fully cancelled

ØTrain No. 06125 Tiruchchirappalli – Karaikkudi Passenger leaving Tiruchchirappalli at 18.20 hrs o­n 19th May, 2024 is fully cancelled


Diversion of Train Service:

ØTrain No. 20895 Rameswaram - Bhubaneswar Superfast Express leaving Rameswaram at 08.40 hrs o­n 19th May, 2024 will be diverted to run via Manamadurai, Madurai, Dindigul & Tiruchchirappalli skipping stoppages at Sivaganga, Karaikkudi & Pudukkottai. Additional stoppages will be provided at Madurai and Dindigul for the convenience of passengers


Short Termination of Train Services:

ØTrain No. 06197 Tiruvarur – Karaikkudi DEMU leaving Tiruvarur at 06.20 hrs o­n 19th May, 2024 will be short terminated at Periyakottai. The train will be partially cancelled between Periyakottai and Karaikkudi

ØTrain No. 06829 Tiruchchirappalli – Karaikkudi DEMU leaving Tiruchchirappalli at 10.15 hrs o­n 19th May, 2024 will be short terminated at Chettinad. The train will be partially cancelled between Chettinad and Karaikkudi


Change in Origination of Train Service:

ØTrain No. 06126 Karaikkudi – Tiruchchirappalli Passenger leaving Karaikkudi at 07.05 hrs o­n 19th May, 2024 will originate from Chettinad instead of Karaikkudi at 07.20 hrs


Rescheduling of Train Service:

ØTrain No. 06198 Karaikkudi – Tiruvarur Passenger scheduled to leave Karaikkudi at 18.00 hrs o­n 19th May, 2024 is rescheduled to leave Karaikkudi at 19.00 hrs (Late by 1 hour)
