In view of Traffic Block and Disconnection of commissioning of new block instrument in Tirunelveli – Seydunganallur, Tirunelveli – Cheran Mahadevi & Virudhunagar - Sivakasi Section of Madurai Division from 03rd to 05th October, 2023, the following changes have been made in the pattern of train services:
Partial Cancellation of Train Services:
·Train No. 16731 Palakkad – Tiruchendur Express leaving Palakkad at 06.00 hrs on 03rd & 04th October, 2023 is partially cancelled between Kovilpatti and Tiruchendur. The train will be short terminated at Kovilpatti
·Train No. 16732 Tiruchendr – Palakkad Express leaving Tiruchendur at 12.20 hrs on 03rd & 04th October, 2023 will be partially cancelled between Tiruchendur and Kovilpatti. The train will commence service from Kovilpatti at its scheduled departure time of 14.35 hrs
·Train No. 06684 Sengottai – Tirunelveli Express Special leaving Sengottai at 10.00 hrs on 03rd & 04th October, 2023 will be partially cancelled between Cheran Mahadevi and Tirunelveli. The train will be short terminated at Cheran Mahadevi
·Train No. 06887 Tirunelveli – Sengottai Express Special leaving Tirunelveli at 13.50 hrs on 03rd & 04th October, 2023 will be partially cancelled between Tirunelveli and Cheran Mahadevi. The train will commence service from Cheran Mahadevi at its scheduled departure time of 14.08 hrs
Rescheduling of Train Services:
·Train No. 22628 Thiruvananthapuram Central - Tiruchchirappalli Superfast Express scheduled to leave Thiruvananthapuram Central at 11.35 hrs on 03rd, 04th October, 2023 will be rescheduled to leave Thiruvananthapuram Central at 12.15 hrs (Late by 40 minutes)
·Train No. 06664 Sengottai – Madurai Express Special scheduled to leave Sengottai at 12.10 hrs on 05th October, 2023 will be rescheduled to leave Sengottai at 13.50 hrs (Late by 1 hour 40 minutes)
