Permanent Augmentation of Express Trains


East Coast Railway has notified change in composition of Express trains as given below:

1. In Train No. 12577/12578 Darbhanga – Mysore – Darbhanga Bagmati Superfast Express (via Dr MGR Chennai Central, Arakkonam, Katpadi, Jolarpettai) One AC Three Tier Economy Coach will be added in place of o­ne General Second Class Coach Ex. Darbhanga with effect from 03rd October, 2023 and Ex. Mysore  with effect from 06th  October, 2023

The revised Coach Composition after the permanent augmentation will be:1- AC First  Class Coach, 2- AC Two Tier Coaches,  6- AC Three Tier Coaches , 1-AC Three Tier Economy  Coach6- Sleeper Class Coaches, 3-General Second Class Coaches,  1- Second Class Coach (Divyangjan Friendly) and 1- luggage cum brake van

2. In Train No. 12521/12522 Barauni – Ernakulam – Barauni  Rapti Sagar Superfast Express  One AC Three Tier Economy  Coach will be added in place of o­ne General Second Class Coach  Ex. Barauni with effect from 02nd October, 2023 and Ex. Ernakulam with effect from 06th  October, 2023

The revised Coach Composition after the permanent augmentation will be: 1- AC First Class Coach, 2- AC Two Tier Coaches, 6- AC Three Tier Coaches, 1-AC Three Tier Economy Coach6- Sleeper Class Coaches, 3-General Second Class Coaches,  1- Second Class Coach (Divyangjan Friendly) and 1- luggage cum brake van

3. In Train No. 15228/15227 Muzaffarpur  – SMVT Bengaluru – Muzaffarpur Mail  Express (via  Perambur, Arakkonam, Katpadi, Jolarpettai) One  AC Three Tier Economy  Coach will be added in place o­ne General Second Class Coach  Ex. Muzaffarpur with effect from 02nd October, 2023 and Ex.  SMVT Bengaluru with effect from 05th October, 2023

The revised Coach Composition after the permanent augmentation will be: 1- AC Tier First Class Coach, 2- AC Two Tier Coaches, 6- AC Three Tier Coaches, 1-AC Three Tier Economy Coach,  6- Sleeper Class Coaches, 3- General Second Class Coaches,  1- Second Class Coach (Divyangjan Friendly)  and 1- luggage cum brake van
