Change in the pattern of Train Services


South Central Railway has notified cancellation/ Partial cancellation/Diversion of trains due to suspension of Platform No.2 & 3 at Tirupati for execution of foundations for air concourses for 30 days.  The following are the changes in the pattern of services:

Cancellation of trains:

ØTrain No. 06753 Arakkonam – Tirupati Special passenger  leaving Arakkonam at 09.15 hrs from 12th July 2023 to 10th August 2023 is fully cancelled

ØTrain No. 06754 Tirupati – Arakkonam Special passenger leaving Tirupati 15.45 hrs from 12th July 2023 to 10th August 2023 is fully cancelled

ØTrain No. 06727 Chennai Central (MMC)- Tirupati Special passenger leaving Chennai Central(MMC) at 09.50 hrs from 12th July 2023 to 10th August 2023 is fully cancelled

ØTrain No. 06728 Tirupati - Chennai Central (MMC) Special passenger leaving Tirupati at 13.35 hrs from 12th July 2023 to 10th August 2023 is fully cancelled

ØTrain No. 16203 Dr MGR Chennai Central – Tirupati Express leaving Dr. MGR Chennai Central at  16.35 hrs from 12th July 2023 to 10th August 2023 is fully cancelled

ØTrain No. 16204 Tirupati – Dr. MGR Chennai Central express leaving Tirupati at 06.25 hrs from 12th July 2023 to 10th August 2023 is fully cancelled

Partial Cancellation of Trains:

Train No. 16111 Tirupati – Puducherry Express leaving Tirupati at 04.10 hrs from 12th July 2023 to 11th August 2023 will be partially cancelled between Tirupati and Renigunta. The train will originate From Renigunta at its scheduled departure time of  04.50 hrs

ØTrain No. 16112 Puducherry- Tirupati Express leaving Puducherry at 14.55 hrs from 11th July 2023 to 10th August 2023 will be partially cancelled between Renigunta and Tirupati. The train will be short terminated at Renigunta

ØTrain No. 16057 Dr MGR Chennai Central – Tirupati Express leaving Dr. MGR Chennai Central at 06.25 hrs from 12th July 2023 to 10th August 2023 will be partially cancelled between Renigunta and Tirupati. The train will be short terminated at Renigunta

ØTrain No.16054 Tirupati - Dr MGR Chennai Central Express leaving Tirupati at 10.10 hrs from 12th July 2023 to 10th August 2023 will be partially cancelled between Tirupati and Renigunta. The train will originate From Renigunta at its scheduled departure time of  10.35 hrs

Ø Train No.16053 Dr MGR Chennai Central – Tirupati Express leaving Dr. MGR Chennai Central at 14.15 hrs from 12th July 2023 to 10th August 2023 will be partially cancelled between Renigunta and Tirupati. The train will be short terminated at Renigunta

Ø Train No. 16058 Tirupati - Dr MGR Chennai Central Express leaving Tirupati at 18.05 hrs from 12th July 2023 to 10th August 2023 will be partially cancelled between Tirupati and Renigunta. The train will originate From Renigunta at its scheduled departure time of  18.40hrs

ØTrain No. 16219 Chamarajanagar – Tirupati Express leaving Chamarajanagar at 15.30 hrs from 11th July 2023 to 10th August 2023 will be partially cancelled between Pakala and Tirupati. The train will be short terminated at Pakala

ØTrain No. 16220 Tirupati – Chamarajanagar Express leaving Tirupati at 21.55 hrs from 12th July 2023 to 11th August 2023 will be partially cancelled between Tirupati and Pakala. The train will originate From Pakala at its scheduled departure time of  22.30 hrs

ØTrain No. 16780 Rameswaram – Tirupati Express leaving Rameswaram at 16.20 hrs o­n 13th, 14th, 16th, 20th, 21st, 23rd, 27th, 28th, 30th July, 03rd, 04th, 06th and 10th August 2023 will be partially cancelled between Pakala and Tirupati. The train will be short terminated at Pakala

Ø Train No. 16779 Tirupati – Rameswaram Express leaving Tirupati at 11.55 hrs o­n 14th, 15th, 17th, 21st, 22nd, 24th, 28th, 29th, 31st July, 04th, 05th and 07th August 2023 will be partially cancelled between Tirupati and Pakala. The train will originate From Pakala at its scheduled departure time of  12.30 hrs

ØTrain No. 16854 Villupuram – Tirupati Express leaving Villupuram at 05.30 hrs from 12th July 2023 to 10th August 2023 will be partially cancelled between Katpadi and Tirupati. The train will be short-terminated at Katpadi

ØTrain No. 16853 Tirupati - Villupuram Express leaving Tirupati at 13.50 hrs from 12th July 2023 to 10th August 2023 will be partially cancelled between Tirupati and Katpadi. The train will originate from Katpadi at its scheduled departure time of 16.40 hrs

Diversion of Train Services:

ØTrain No.12643 Thiruvananthapuram Central – Nizamuddin Weekly Express leaving Thiruvananthapuram Central at 14.15 hrs o­n 11th, 18th, 25th July 2023 and 01st and 08th August 2023 will be diverted to run via Melpakkam skipping stoppage at Chittoor, Tirupati 

ØTrain No.12644 Nizamuddin - Thiruvananthapuram Central Weekly Express leaving Nizamuddin at 05.10 hrs o­n 14th, 21st, 28th July 2023 and 04th and 11th August 2023 will be diverted to run via Melpakkam skipping stoppage at Tirupati, Chittoor.


ØTrain No. 12645 Ernakulam Junction – Hazrat Nizamuddin Millennium Weekly Superfast Express leaving  Ernakulam Jn at 19.00 hrs o­n 15th, 22nd, 29th July 2023 and 05th August 2023 will be diverted to run via Melpakkam skipping stoppage at Chittoor, Tirupati 

ØTrain No. 12646 Hazrat Nizamuddin - Ernakulam Jn Millennium Weekly Superfast Express leaving Hazrat Nizamuddin at 05.10 hrs o­n 11th, 18th, 25th July 2023 and 01st and 08th August 2023 will be diverted to run via Melpakkam skipping stoppage at Tirupati, Chittoor.

ØTrain No. 18637 Hatia – SMVT Bengaluru Express leaving hatia at 18.25 hrs o­n  15th, 22nd, 29th July and 05th August,2023 will be diverted to run via Melpakkam skipping stoppage Tirupati , Pakala and  Chittoor

ØTrain No. 18638 SMVT Bengaluru – Hatia Express leaving SMVT Bengaluru at 00.30 hrs. o­n 11th, 18th, 25th July 01st and 08th August 2023  will be diverted to run via Melpakkam skipping stoppage  Chittoor, Pakala and Tirupati

ØTrain No.07191 Kacheguda – Madurai Weekly Special leaving Kacheguda at 20.50 hrs o­n 17th, 24th, 31st July and 07th August 2023 will be diverted to run via Melpakkam skipping stoppage Tirupati and Chittoor

ØTrain No.07192 Madurai – Kacheguda Weekly Special leaving Madurai at 05.30 hrs o­n 12th, 19th, 26th July 02nd  and 09th August 2023 will be diverted to run via Melpakkam skipping stoppage Chittoor and Tirupati
