Change in the pattern of Train Services


Fixed Time Corridor blocks have been approved for maintenance of assets for the month of July 2023 in Tiruchirappalli Division, consequently the following are the changes in pattern of Train Services:

Partial cancellation of Train Services:

ØTrain No. 06692 Mayiladuturai – Villupuram Express Special leaving Mayiladuturai at 15.45 hrs o­n 05th, 06th, 07th, 11th, 12th, 13th, 14th, 18th, 19th, 20th, 21st, 25th, 26th, 27th and 28th July, 2023 will be partially cancelled between Mayiladuturai and Cuddalore Port. The  train will originate from Cuddalore port at its scheduled departure time of 17.24 hrs

ØTrain No. 06880 Tiruchchirappalli – Karaikal DEMU Express Special leaving Tiruchchirappalli at 09.50 hrs o­n and from 05th July, 2023 to 31st July, 2023 will be partially cancelled between Thanjavur and Karaikal. The train will be short terminated at Thanjavur.

ØTrain No. 06739 Karaikal – Tiruchchirappalli DEMU Express Special leaving Karaikal at 15.10 hrs o­n and from 05th July, 2023 to 31st July, 2023 will be partially cancelled between Karaikal and Thanjavur. The  train will originate from Thanjavur at its scheduled departure time of 17.50 hrs

ØTrain No. 16844 Palghat Town – Tiruchchirappalli Express leaving Palghat Town at 06.30 hrs o­n and from 20th to 25th July, 2023 will be partially cancelled between Tiruchchirappalli Fort – Tiruchchirappalli Jn. The train will be short terminated at Tiruchchirappalli Fort.

ØTrain No. 16843 Tiruchchirappalli Jn - Palghat Town unreserved express leaving Tiruchchirappalli Jn at 13.00 hrs  on and from 20th to 25th July, 2023  will be partially cancelled between Tiruchchirappalli and Tiruchchirappalli fort. The train will commence the service from Tiruchchirappalli Fort at its scheduled departure time of 13.12 hrs


Rescheduling of Train Service:

ØTrain No. 06695 Mayiladuturai – Thiruvarur Passenger Special Scheduled to leave Mayiladuturai at 18.15 hrs  o­n 05th, 06th, 07th, 11th, 12th, 13th, 14th, 18th,19th, 20th, 21st, 25th, 26th, 27th and 28th July,2023 is rescheduled to leave Mayiladuthurai at 19.25 hrs (Late by 01 hour 10 Mins)
