Railway Board has approved o­ne Minute Stoppage at Rasipuram Station on an experimental basis for Train No. 16733/16734 Rameswaram – Okha – Rameswaram Weekly Express, Train No. 22651 Dr MGR Chennai Central – Palakkad Daily Superfast Express and Train No. 17236 Nagercoil – SMVT Bengaluru Daily Express

Dr L Murugan, Hon’ble Minister of State for Information & Broadcasting and Fisheries, Animal Husbandry and Dairying will inaugurate the stoppage at Rasipuram Station for Train No. 16733/16734 Rameswaram – Okha – Rameswaram Weekly Express, Train No. 22651 Dr MGR Chennai Central – Palakkad Superfast Express and Train No. 17236 Nagercoil – SMVT Bengaluru Daily Express o­n 06th July, 2023 by flagging off the Train No. 16734 Okha – Rameswaram Weekly Express
