Line Block/Power Block has been permitted for facilitating engineering works in Madukarai section. Consequently, the following changes are made in the pattern of train services:
Full Cancellation of Train Services:
1.Train No. 06807 Coimbatore – Palakkad Town MEMU Express Special leaving Coimbatore at 18.00 hrs on 11th, 12th, 13th, 15th, 16th, 17th May, 2023 will be fully cancelled
Partial Cancellation of Train Services:
1.Train No. 06458 Shoranur – Coimbatore Express Special leaving Shoranur at 08.20 hrs on 11th, 12th, 13th, 14th, 15th, 16th, 17th May, 2023 will be partially cancelled between Palakkad and Coimbatore. The train will be short terminated at Palakkad
2.Train No. 06459 Coimbatore – Shoranur Express Special leaving Coimbatore at 16.30 hrs on 11th, 12th, 13th, 14th, 15th, 16th, 17th May, 2023 will be partially cancelled between Coimbatore and Palakkad. The train will commence service from Palakkad at its scheduled departure time of 17.55 hrs
3.Train No. 16324 Mangaluru Central – Coimbatore Express leaving Mangaluru Central at 09.00 hrs on 11th, 12th, 13th, 14th, 15th, 16th, 17th May, 2023 will be partially cancelled between Palakkad and Coimbatore. The train will be short terminated at Palakkad
4.Train No. 06818 Palakkad Town – Erode MEMU Express Special leaving Palakkad Town at 14.40 hrs on 12th, 13th, 14th, 15th, 16th, 17th May, 2023 will be partially cancelled between Palakkad Town and Coimbatore. The train will commence service from Coimbatore at its scheduled departure time of 16.28 hrs
5.Train No. 06819 Erode – Palakkad Town MEMU Express Special leaving Erode at 07.15 hrs on 12th, 13th, 14th, 15th, 16th, 17th May, 2023 will be partially cancelled between Coimbatore and Palakkad Town. The train will be short terminated at Coimbatore
Short Termination of Train Services:
1.Train No. 16843 Tiruchchirappalli – Palakkad Town Express leaving Tiruchchirappalli at 13.00 hrs on 11th, 12th, 13th, 14th, 15th, 16th, 17th May, 2023 will be short terminated at Podanur. The train will be partially cancelled between Podanur and Palakkad Town
2.Train No. 06804 Shoranur – Coimbatore MEMU Express Special leaving Shoranur at 15.10 hrs on 11th, 12th, 13th, 15th, 16th, 17th May, 2023 will be short terminated at Palakkad. The train will be partially cancelled between Palakkad and Coimbatore
3.Train No. 22609 Mangaluru Central – Coimbatore Intercity Express leaving Mangaluru Central at 11.05 hrs on 11th, 12th, 13th, 14th, 15th, 16th, 17th May, 2023 will be short terminated at Palakkad. The train will be partially cancelled between Palakkad and Coimbatore
Rescheduling of Train Services:
1.Train No. 17229 Thiruvananthapuram Central – Secunderabad Sabari Express scheduled to leave Thiruvananthapuram Central at 06.45 hrs on 11th, 12th, 13th, 14th, 16th May, 2023 will be rescheduled to leave Thiruvananthapuram Central at 10.05 hrs (Late by 3 hrs 20 mins)
2.Train No. 02197 Coimbatore – Jabalpur Express Superfast Special scheduled to leave Coimbatore at 17.05 hrs on 15th & 16th May, 2023 will be rescheduled to leave Coimbatore at 19.10 hrs (Late by 2 hrs 05 mins)
