In connection with mechanized track maintenance works in Ambalappuzha and Trippunithura stations, the following changes are made in the pattern of train services:
·Train No. 12696 Thiruvananthapuram Central – Dr MGR Chennai Central Daily Superfast Express leaving Thiruvananthapuram Central at 17.15 hrs on 16th February, 2023 will be diverted to run via Alappuzha skipping stoppages at Mavelikara, Chengannur, Thiruvalla, Changanassery and Kottayam. An additional stoppage will be provided at Alappuzha station for the benefit of passengers
