South Western Railway has notified special trains to clear extra rush during New Year as detailed below:
Train No. 06221/06222 Mysuru – Kannur – Mysuru Festival Specials:
Train No. 06221 Mysuru – Kannur Festival Special will leave Mysuru at 23.30 hrs on 30th December, 2022 & 01st January, 2023 (Friday & Sunday) and reach Kannur Jn at 17.15 hrs, the next day (2 Services)
In return direction Train No. 06222 Kannur – Mysuru Festival Special will leave Kannur at 20.55 hrs on 31st December, 2022 & 02nd January, 2023 (Saturday & Monday) and reach Mysuru at 14.30 hrs, the next day (2 Services)
Coach Composition: 4- AC Two Tier Coaches, 11- AC Three Tier Coaches, 1- Luggage cum Brake Van, 1- General Second Class (Divyangjan Friendly)
Stoppages in both directions: Mandya, Kengeri, KSR Bengaluru, Bengaluru Cantonment, Hosur, Dharmapuri, Omalur, Salem, Erode, Tiruppur, Coimbatore, Palghat, Ottapalam, Shoranur, Tirur, Kozhikode, Vadakara & Tellicherry
Advance Reservation for the above Festival Special Trains will open at 08.00 hrs on 23.12.2022 (Tomorrow) from Southern Railway End
