East Coast Railway has notified Special trains between Visakhapatnam and Kollam sector to clear extra rush of Passengers during the Sabarimala season as detailed below:
Train No. 08567 / 08568 Visakhapatnam – Kollam Junction – Visakhapatnam Weekly Special fare specials:
Train No. 08567 Visakhapatnam – Kollam Junction Weekly Special fare special will leave Visakhapatnam on Sundays at 07.20 hrs on 04th, 11th, 18th, 25th December-2022, 01st, 08th & 15th January-2023 and reach Kollam Junction at 12.55 hrs on the next day i.e., Monday (7 Services)
In the return direction, Train No. 08568 Kollam Junction – Visakhapatnam Weekly Special fare special will leave Kollam Junction on Mondays at 20.45 hrs on 05th, 12th, 19th, 26th December-2022, 02nd, 09th & 16th January-2023 and reach Visakhapatnam at 23.50 hrs on the next day i.e., Tuesday (7 Services)
Coach Composition: Four - AC 2-Tier Coaches, Ten - AC 3-Tier Coaches, Two - Sleeper Class Coaches, Four – General Second Class Coaches, One – Luggage Brake & Generator van & One - General Second Class (Divyangjan Friendly) and Luggage cum Brake van (Total: 22)
Stoppages in both directions: Duvvada, Samalkot, Rajahmundry, Tadepalligudem, Vijayawada, ongole, Nellore, Gudur, Renigunta, Katpadi Junction, Jolarpettai Junction, Salem Junction, Erode Junction, Tiruppur, Coimbatore Junction, Palakkad Junction, Thrissur, Aluva, Ernakulam Town, Kottayam, Changanasseri, Tiruvalla, Chengannur, Malelikara, Kayankulam and Shasthankotta.
