According priority to passenger safety and safety of train operations, and as part of ongoing safety improvement works, Fixed time corridor blocks for maintenance of assets for the month of September, 2022 had been announced for various dates in various sections of Madurai Division as detailed below.
Full cancellation of train services
In view of ongoing work of strengthening of track between Rajapalayam and Sankarankovil,
Train No. 06663 Madurai Junction – Sengottai Express Special leaving Madurai Junction at 11.30 hrs from 11.9.2022 to 30.9.2022 is fully cancelled
Train No. 06664 Sengottai – Madurai Junction Express Special leaving Sengottai at 11.0 hrs from 11.9.2022 to 30.9.2022 is fully cancelled.
Partial cancellation of train services
ØTrain No. 06829 Tiruchchirappalli Junction – Manamadurai Junction DEMU Express special leaving Tiruchchirappalli Junction at 10.15 hrs on 07th, 08th, 10th, 12th, 13th, 14th, 15th, 17th, 19th, 20th, 21st and 22nd September, 2022 will be partially cancelled between Sivaganga and Manamadurai Junction. The train will not run from Sivaganga to Manamadurai on mentioned days and will run only between Tiruchchirappalli Junction and Sivaganga.
ØTrain No. 06830 Manamadurai Junction - Tiruchchirappalli Junction DEMU Express special leaving Manamadurai Junction at 14.15 hrs on 07th, 08th, 10th, 12th, 13th, 14th, 15th, 17th, 19th, 20th, 21st and 22nd September, 2022 will be partially cancelled between Manamadurai Junction and Sivaganga. The train will commence its journey from Sivaganga at its scheduled departure time of 14.39 towards Tiruchchirappalli Junction on mentioned days and will not run between Manamadurai and Sivaganga on the mentioned days.
