RailMadad - A one stop solution for rail-related complaints, grievances suggestions and enquiries RailMadad Integrated Helpline 139 can be accessed by lady passengers for security related assistance


RailMadad is an integrated and innovative o­ne-stop solution launched by Indian Railways for customer grievance, enquiry, complaints, suggestion and assistance.  RailMadad can be accessed through multiple channels, namely, Web, App, SMS, social media and Helpline number 139 during the journey for expeditious resolution of their complaints.    A number of helplines that earlier existed o­n the Railways for various purposes have been merged into o­ne helpline i.e. RailMadad Helpline 139.  The helpline facility is available round the clock in 12 languages including Tamil and Malayalam.

Rail passengers, especially women passengers, may seek security assistance during journey by accessing RailMadad portal or through its Integrated Helpline 139.  Lady passengers may also contact the Travelling Ticket Examiner (TTE) o­n duty in train and uniformed personnel like RPF/GRP in railway stations/trains in case of exigencies for immediate assistance.

RPF wing of Southern Railway, in coordination with GRP, have initiated several measures to prevent crimes against women passengers in trains and at stations.   RailMadad Helpline 139 is an endeavor in this direction to uphold the safety of women passengers.
