Southern Railway delivers 4122.71 MT of Oxygen for the States of Tamil Nadu & Kerala through 57 Oxygen Express trains.
As on date Southern Railway has delivered a total of 3608.99 MT of LMO for Tamil Nadu through 53 Oxygen Express trains since 14th May, 2021 when the first loaded oxygen express arrived.

As of date, Inland Container Depot, Tondiarpet handled 27 loaded Oxygen Express rakes carrying 1884.25 MT of LMO.
One rake each was delivered to Tondiarpet Goods Yard (30.5 MT), Tiruvallur (31.4 MT), Milavattan (78.82 MT),Vadipatti (79.31 MT) and Irugur Siding (80.69 MT).
Tiruchchirappalli Goods Yard (161.8 MT) handled two rakes. Kudalnagar received four rakes with 276.94 MT while Madukkarai near Coimbatore received seven Oxygen Express carrying a total of 333.02 MT of LMO. Chennai Harbour handled eight rakes delivering 652.26 MT of LMO.
As for further Oxygen Express trains, one loaded rake for Tamil Nadu from Rourkela with 5 containers carrying 65.14 MT of LMO is expected to arrive at Milavattan around 20:00 hours of today (08-06-2021). Two more loaded rakes for Tamil Nadu with 207.82 MT of LMO are in transit.
Oxygen Express for Kerala
So far, three oxygen Express trains delivered 380.2 MT of Oxygen to Kerala. All the three rakes were offloaded at Vallarpadam Container Terminal, Kochi. The fourth Oxygen Express with 7 containers carrying 133.52 MT of LMO from Rourkela arrived on 01-06-2021. With the arrival of the fourth rake, Southern Railway has delivered 513.72 MT of LMO for the State of Kerala
Oxygen Express to Various States
Indian Railways have delivered nearly 27600 MT of LMO in more than 1603 tankers to various states across the country.392 Oxygen Expresses have completed their journey so far and brought relief to various States.
614 MT of Oxygen has been offloaded in Maharashtra, nearly 3797 MT in Uttar Pradesh, 656 MT in Madhya Pradesh, 5790 MT in Delhi, 2212 MT in Haryana, 98 MT in Rajasthan, 3341 MT in Karnataka, 320 MT in Uttarakhand, 3608.99 MT in Tamil Nadu, 3049 MT in Andhra Pradesh, 225 MT in Punjab, 513.72 MT in Kerala, 2765 MT in Telangana, 38 MT in Jharkhand and 400 MT in Assam.
Running on high priority Green Corridor, Indian Railways has mapped different routes with Oxygen supply locations and keeps itself ready with any emerging need of the States. States provide tankers to the Indian Railways for bringing LMO. Running of new Oxygen is a very dynamic exercise and figures keep getting updated all the time.
