Changes in Pattern of Train Services


Due to poor patronage the changes in the pattern of services of the following special trains are detailed below:-

Extension of Cancellation of Special Trains:

1.Train No.02695 Dr MGR Chennai Central – Thiruvananthapuram Special which was temporarily cancelled up to 31st May, 2021 will remain cancelled up to 15th June, 2021

2.Train No.02696 Thiruvananthapuram  - Dr MGR Chennai Central Special which was temporarily cancelled up to 01st June, 2021 will remain cancelled up to 16th June, 2021

3.Train No.06605 Mangalore Central – Nagercoil Special which was  temporarily cancelled up to 31st May, 2021 will remain cancelled up to 15th June, 2021

4.Train No.06606 Nagercoil -  Mangalore Central Special which was temporarily cancelled up to 01stJune, 2021 will remain cancelled up to 16th June, 2021

Cancellation of Special trains

1.Train No. 02627 Tiruchchirappalli – Thiruvananthapuram Special will be temporarily cancelled from 01st June, 2021 to 15th June, 2021

2.Train No. 02628 Thiruvananthapuram – Tiruchchirappalli Special will be temporarily cancelled from 02nd June, 2021 to 16th June, 2021

3.Train No. 06851 Chennai Egmore - Rameswaram Special will be temporarily cancelled from 01st June, 2021 to 15th June, 2021

4.Train No.  06852 Rameswaram - Chennai Egmore Special will be temporarily cancelled from 02nd June, 2021 to 16th June, 2021

Partial Cancellation of Special trains  

1.Train No. 06729 Madurai – Punalur Weekly Special will be partially cancelled between Thiruvananthapuram and Punalur with effect from 01st June, 2021 to 15th June, 2021. Accordingly , the train will terminate at Thiruvananthapuram instead of Punalur

2.Train No. 06730 Punalur – Madurai Weekly Special will be partially cancelled between Punalur and Thiruvananthapuram with effect from 02nd June, 2021 to 16th June, 2021. Accordingly, the train will originate from  Thiruvananthapuram instead of Punalur

3.Train No. 06127 Chennai Egmore – Guruvayur Weekly Special will be partially cancelled between Thiruvananthapuram and Guruvayur with effect from 01st June, 2021 to 15th June, 2021. Accordingly, the train will terminate at Thiruvananthapuram instead of Guruvayur

4.Train No. 06128 Guruvayur – Chennai Egmore Weekly Special will be partially cancelled between Guruvayur and Thiruvananthapuram with effect from 02nd June, 2021 to 16th June, 2021. Accordingly , the Train will originate from Thiruvananthapuram instead of Guruvayur
