Due to high velcocity winds across Pamban Bridge, Traffic on Pamban Bridge was suspended and Train No.06852 Rameswaram – Chennai Special Train of 25th May 2021 was fully cancelled. Full refund was given to passengers.
Train No.05120 Manduadih – Rameswaram Express scheduled to arrive Rameswaram was short terminated at Mandapam at 21.07 hrs on 25th May 2021 and passengers road bridged to Rameswaram
Similarly Train No.06851 Chennai Egmore – Rameswaram Special Train which left Chennai Egmore on 25th May 2021 is short terminated at Mandapam at 07.15 hrs today 26th May 2021 and the passengers road bridged and transported by buses to Rameswaram.
