Fixed Time Corridor Block has been approved for facilitating engineering works over various sections in Madurai Division. Consequently, the following are the changes in the pattern of train services:
Partial Cancellation of Train Services:
1. Train No.16845 Erode Jn – Sengottai Express, scheduled to leave from Erode Jn at 14.00 hrs, will be Partially Cancelled between Dindigul – Sengottai from 31.08.2025 to 30.09.2025, (except Tuesdays on 02nd, 09th,, 16th,, 23rd, & 30th, September, 2025.) The train will run from Erode to Dindigul only; it will not run from Dindigul to Sengottai on the above mentioned dates.
2. Train No.16846 Sengottai – Erode Jn Express, scheduled to leave from Sengottai at 05.10 hrs, will be Partially Cancelled between Sengottai – Dindigul from 01.09.2025 to 30.09.2025, (except Wednesdays on 03rd, 10th, 17th, & 24th, September, 2025). The train will not run from Sengottai to Dindigul; it will leave from Dindigul and run up to Erode on the above mentioned dates.
Diversion of Train Services:
1.Train No. 16848 Sengottai – Mayiladuturai Express leaving Sengottai at 06.55 hrs on 01.09.2025 to 30.09.2025, (except Wednesdays on 03rd,10th,17th, &24th, September 2025 ) will be diverted to run via Virudunagar, Manamadurai, Karaikkudi and Tiruchchirappalli skipping stoppages at Kalligudi, Tirumangalam, Tiruparankundram, Madurai, Kodaikanal Road, Dindigul, Vadamadura, Vaiyampatti and Manaparai. Additional stoppages will be provided at Aruppukkottai, Manamadurai, Sivaganga, Devakottai Road, Karaikkudi, Pudukkottai, and Keeranur,
2.Train No. 16352 Nagercoil – Mumbai CSMT Express leaving Nagercoil at 06.15 hrs on 04th,07th,11th, 14th,18th, 21st, 25th, & 28th September, 2025 will be diverted to run via Virudunagar, Manamadurai, Karaikkudi and Tiruchchirappalli skipping stoppages at Madurai and Dindigul. Additional stoppages will be provided at Aruppukkottai, Manamadurai, Sivaganga, Karaikkudi and Pudukkottai.
3. Train No. 12666 Kanniyakumari – Howrah Superfast Express leaving Kanniyakumari at 05.50 hrs on 06th,13th,20th,& 27th, September 2025 will be diverted to run via Virudunagar, Manamadurai, Karaikkudi and Tiruchchirappalli skipping stoppages at Madurai, Kodaikanal Road and Dindigul. Additional stoppages will be provided at Aruppukkottai, Manamadurai, Sivaganga, Karaikkudi and Pudukkottai.
4. Train No. 16128 Guruvayur – Chennai Egmore Express leaving Guruvayur at 23.15 hrs on 01.09.2025 to 30.09.2025, (except Mondays & Tuesdays)will be diverted to run via Virudunagar, Manamadurai, Karaikkudi and Tiruchchirappalli skipping stoppages at Madurai, Sholavandan, Kodaikanal Road, Dindigul and Manapparai. Additional stoppages will be provided at Aruppukkottai, Manamadurai, Sivaganga, Karaikkudi and Pudukkottai.
5. No. 07229 Kanniyakumari – Hyderabad Special leaving Kanniyakumari at 05.15 hrs on 05th,12th,19th,& 26th September 2025 will be diverted to run via Virudunagar, Manamadurai, Karaikkudi and Tiruchchirappalli skipping stoppages at Madurai, Kodaikanal Road and Dindigul. Additional stoppages will be provided at Aruppukkottai, Manamadurai, Sivaganga, Karaikkudi and Pudukkottai.
