South Eastern Railway has notified for the extension of periodicity of following Special Trains with existing timings, stoppages, composition as given below:
Train No. 02841/02842 Shalimar – Dr MGR Chennai Central – Shalimar specials
- The service of Train No. 02841 Shalimar – Dr MGR Chennai Central Special leaving Shalimar at 18.30 hrs on Mondays and reaching Dr MGR Chennai Central at 23.30 hrs, the next day will be extended to run on 25th August, 01st, 08th, 15th September, 2025 (4 Services)
- The service of Train No. 02842 Dr MGR Chennai Central – Shalimar Special leaving Dr MGR Chennai Central at 04.30 hrs on Wednesdays and reaching Shalimar at 11.20 hrs, the next day will be extended to run on 27th August, 03rd, 10th, 17th September, 2025 (4 Services)
Advance Reservation for the above special trains will open at 14.15 hrs on 20.08.2025 (Today) from Southern Railway End
