Fixed Time Corridor Block has been approved for facilitating engineering works over various sections in Thiruvananthapuram Division consequently the following are the changes in the pattern of train services.
Partial Cancellation/Short Termination of Train Services
1.Train No. 16325 Nilambur Road – Kottayam Express scheduled to leave Nilambur Road at 15.15 hrs on 19th, 20th, 21st, 24th, 26th, 30th, 31st August, 10th, 12th September, 2025 will be short terminated at Ettumanur. The train will be partially cancelled between Ettumanur and Kottayam
2.Train No. 16327 Madurai – Guruvayur Express scheduled to leave Madurai at 11.35 hrs on 10th, 12th September, 2025 will be partially cancelled between Kollam and Guruvayur. The train will be short terminated at Kollam
Partial Cancellation/Change in the Origination of Train Services
1.Train No. 16326 Kottayam – Nilambur Road Express scheduled to leave Kottayam at 05.15 hrs on 16th, 17th, 23rd and 29th August, 2025 will be partially cancelled between Kottayam and Ettumanur. The train will Originate from Ettumanur at its scheduled departure time of 05.27 hrs
2.Train No. 16328 Guruvayur – Madurai Express scheduled to leave Guruvayur at 05.50 hrs on 11th, 13th September, 2025 will be partially cancelled between Guruvayur and Kollam. The train will originate from Kollam at its scheduled departure time of 12.10 hrs
Diversion of Train Services:
1.Train No. 22503 Kanniyakumari – Dibrugarh Vivek Express leaving Kanniyakumari at 17.25 hrs on 10th & 12th September, 2025 will be diverted to run via Alappuzha skipping stoppages at Chengannur and Kottayam. Additional stoppages will be provided at Alappuzha and Ernakulam
2.Train No. 16629 Thiruvananthapuram Central – Mangaluru Central Malabar Express leaving Thiruvananthapuram Central at 18.40 hrs on 10th September, 2025 will be diverted to run via Alappuzha skipping stoppages at Mavelikkara, Chengannur, Tiruvalla, Changanasseri, Kottayam, Paravur Road and Tripunitura with additional stoppage at Haripad, Ambalappuzha, Alappuzha, Cherthala and Ernakulam Jn
3.Train No. 16343 Thiruvananthapuram Central – Madurai Amrita Express scheduled to leave Thiruvananthapuram Central at 20.30 hrs on 10th &12th September, 2025 will be diverted to run via Alappuzha skipping stoppages at Mavelikkara, Chengannur, Tiruvalla, Changanasseri and Kottayam. Additional stoppages will be provided at Haripad, Ambalappuzha, Alappuzha, Cherthala and Ernakulam.
4.Train No. 16349 Thiruvananthapuram North – Nilambur Road Rajya Rani Express scheduled to leave Thiruvananthapuram North at 21.00 hrs on 10th & 12th September, 2025 will be diverted to run via Alappuzha skipping stoppages at Mavelikkara, Chengannur, Tiruvalla, Changanasseri,and Kottayam Additional stoppages will be provided at Haripad, Ambalappuzha, Alappuzha, Cherthala and Ernakulam.
5.Train No. 16347 Thiruvananthapuram Central – Mangaluru Central Express scheduled to leave Thiruvananthapuram Central at 20.55 hrs on 10th & 12th September, 2025 will be diverted to run via Alappuzha skipping stoppages at Mavelikkara, Chengannur, Tiruvalla, Changanasseri, Kottayam and Piravom Road. Additional stoppages will be provided at Haripad, Ambalappuzha, Alappuzha, Cherthala and Ernakulam
6.Train No. 18568 Kollam – Visakhapatnam Express scheduled to leave Kollam at 19.35hrs on 12th September, 2025 will be diverted to run via Alappuzha skipping stoppages at Mavelikkara, Chengannur, Tiruvalla, Changanasseri,and Kottayam Additional stoppages will be provided at Haripad, Ambalappuzha, Alappuzha, Cherthala and Ernakulam
7.Train No. 22653 Thiruvananthapuram Central – Hazrat Nizamuddin Superfast Express scheduled to leave Thiruvananthapuram Central at 22.00 hrs on 12th September, 2025 will be diverted to run via Alappuzha skipping stoppages at Changanasseri and Kottayam. Additional stoppages will be provided at Alappuzha and Ernakulam for the convenience of passenger
