South Eastern Railway has notified change in pattern of the following train services due to 29 days pre-Non Interlocking Work (from 23.10.2025 to 20.11.2025) and 3 days post Non Interlocking work (from 22.11.2025 to 24.11.2025) in connection with yard remodeling of Shalimar station of Kharagpur division as given below:
Cancellation of Train Services:
1.Train No. 22641 Thiruvananthapuram Central – Shalimar Superfast Express scheduled to leave Thiruvananthapuram Central at 16.55 hrs on 13th & 15th November, 2025 will be fully cancelled
2.Train No. 22642 Shalimar – Thiruvananthapuram Central Superfast Express scheduled to leave Shalimar at 23.45 hrs on 16th & 18th November, 2025 will be fully cancelled
3.Train No. 12659 Nagercoil – Shalimar Gurudev Superfast Express scheduled to leave Nagercoil at 14.45 hrs on 16th November, 2025 will be fully cancelled
4.Train No. 12660 Shalimar – Nagercoil Express scheduled to leave Shalimar at 23.45 hrs on 19th November, 2025 will be fully cancelled
Short termination/Change in Origination of Train Services:
1.Train No. 22826 Dr MGR Chennai Central – Shalimar Superfast Express scheduled to leave Dr MGR Chennai Central at 19.50 hrs on 29th October, 12th & 19th November, 2025 will be short terminated at Santragachi. The train will be partially cancelled between Santragachi and Shalimar
2.Train No. 12841 Howrah – Dr MGR Chennai Central Coromandel Express scheduled to leave Howrah at 15.10 hrs on 13th, 14th, 15th, 16th, 17th, 18th, 19th, 20th, 21st, 22nd, 23rd & 24th November, 2025 will originate from Santragachi at 15.32 hrs. The train will be partially cancelled between Howrah and Santragachi
*It may be noted that Train No. 12841 Shalimar – Dr MGR Chennai Central Coromandel Express will Originate/Terminate at Howrah instead of Shalimar with effect from 25.08.2025*
