Changes in the pattern of Train Services
Fixed Time Corridor Block has been approved for facilitating engineering works over various sections in Madurai Division, consequently the following are the changes in the pattern of train services:
Partial Cancellation of Train Services:
1.Train No. 16322 Coimbatore – Nagercoil Express leaving Coimbatore at 08.00 hrs on 01st August to 23rd August, 2025 ( Except 15th, August 2025) will be partially cancelled between Dindigul and Nagercoil. The train will be short terminated at Dindigul.
2.Train No. 16845 Erode – Sengottai Express leaving Erode at 14.00 hrs on 27th, 28th, 29th and 30th August, 2025 will be partially cancelled between Dindigul and Sengottai . The train will be short terminated at Dindigul.
3.Train No. 16846 Sengottai – Erode Express leaving Sengottai at 05.10 hrs on 28th, 29th, 30th and 31th August, 2025 will be partially cancelled between Sengottai and Dindigul. The train will originate from Dindigul at 11.25 hrs
4.Train No. 16849 Tiruchchirappalli – Rameswaram Express leaving Tiruchchirappalli at 07.05 hrs on 11th, 12th, 13th, 14th, 18th, 19th, 20th 21st, 25th, 26th, 28th August, 2025 (Except Friday, Saturday, Sunday and 27th August, 2025) will be partially cancelled between Manamadurai and Rameswaram. The train will be short terminated at Manamadurai
5.Train No. 16850 Rameswaram – Tiruchchirappalli Express leaving Rameswaram at 15.00 hrs on 11th, 12th, 13th, 14th, 18th, 19th, 20th 21st, 25th, 26th, 28th August, 2025 (Except Friday, Saturday, Sunday, and 27th August 2025) will be partially cancelled between Rameswaram and Manamadurai. The train will originate from Manamadurai at 16.55 hrs
Diversion of Train Services:
1.Train No. 16847 Mayiladuturai – Sengottai Express leaving Mayiladuturai at 12.10 hrs on 03rd, 06th, 10th, 13th, 17th & 20th August, 2025 will be diverted to run via Tiruchchirappalli, Karaikkudi, Manamadurai and Virudunagar skipping stoppages at Manapparai, Vaiyampatti, Vadamadura, Dindigul, Kodaikanal Road, Madurai, Tiruparankundram, Tirumangalam and Kalligudi. Additional stoppages will be provided at Pudukkottai, Karaikkudi, Devakottai Road, Sivaganga, Manamadurai and Aruppukkottai for the benefit of passengers
2.Train No. 16788 Shri Vaishno Devi Katra – Tirunelveli Express leaving Shri Vaishno Devi Kata at 22.30 hrs on 31st July, 07th and 14th August, 2025 will be diverted to run via Tiruchchirappalli, Karaikkudi, Manamadurai and Virudunagar skipping stoppages at Dindigul, Kodaikanal Road, Madurai. Additional stoppages will be provided at Pudukkottai, Karaikkudi, Sivaganga, Manamadurai and Aruppukkottai for the benefit of passengers
3.Train No. 16848 Sengottai – Mayiladuturai Express leaving Sengottai at 06.55 hrs on 01st, to 14th, August 2025 (Except Sunday, and Thursday) will diverted to run via Virudunagar, Manamadurai, Karaikkudi and Tiruchchirappalli skipping stoppages at Kalligudi, Tirumangalam, Tiruparankundram, Madurai, Kodaikanal Road, Dindigul, Vadamadura, Vaiyampatti and Manaparai. Additional stoppages will be provided at Aruppukkottai, Manamadurai, Sivaganga, Devakottai Road, Karaikkudi, and Pudukkottai,
4.Train No. 12666 Kanniyakumari – Howrah Superfast Express leaving Kanniyakumari at 05.50 hrs on 02nd, 09th, 16th August, 2025 will be diverted to run via Virudunagar, Manamadurai, Karaikkudi and Tiruchchirappalli skipping stoppages at Madurai, Kodaikanal Road and Dindigul. Additional stoppages will be provided at Aruppukkottai, Manamadurai, Sivaganga, Karaikkudi and Pudukkottai
5.Train No. 07229 Kanniyakumari – Hyderabad Special leaving Kanniyakumari at 05.15 hrs on 01st, 08th, 29th August, 2025 will be diverted to run via Virudunagar, Manamadurai, Karaikkudi and Tiruchchirappalli skipping stoppages at Madurai, Kodaikanal Road and Dindigul. Additional stoppages will be provided at Aruppukkottai, Manamadurai, Sivaganga, Karaikkudi and Pudukkottai
6.Train No. 16128 Guruvayur – Chennai Egmore Express leaving Guruvayur at 23.15 hrs on 27th, 28th, 29th and 30th August, 2025 will be diverted to run via Virudunagar, Manamadurai, Karaikkudi and Tiruchchirappalli skipping stoppages at Madurai, Sholavandan, Kodaikanal Road, Dindigul and Manaparai. Additional stoppages will be provided at Aruppukkottai, Manamadurai, Sivaganga, Karaikkudi and Pudukkottai

Temporary Augmentation of Express Trains
North Western Railway has notified for temporary augmentation of the following trains to clear the extra rush of passengers as detailed below:
1. Train No. 22497/22498 Shri Ganganagar – Tiruchchirappalli – Shri Ganganagar Humsafar Express will be temporarily augmented with One AC Three Tier CoachEx. Shri Ganganagar from 04th to 25th August 2025 (Mondays) and Ex. Tiruchchirappalli from 08th to 29th August 2025 (Fridays).
ØThe coach composition after the augmentation will be 17- AC Three Tier Coaches, 2- Luggage cum Brake Vans & 1- Pantry Car
2. Train No. 20481/20482 Jodhpur – Tiruchchirappalli – Jodhpur Humsafar Express will betemporarilyaugmentedwith OneSleeperClassCoach Ex.Jodhpurfrom 06th to 27th August2025 (Wednesdays) and Ex. Tiruchchirappalli from 09th to 30th August 2025 (Saturdays)
ØThe coach composition after the augmentation will be: 16- AC Three Tier Coaches, 2- Sleeper Class Coaches, 2- Luggage cum Brake Vans and 1- Pantry Car

Change in the pattern of Train Services
Fixed Time Corridor Block has been approved for facilitating engineering works over various sections in Tiruchchirappalli Division for the month of August, consequently the following are the changes in the pattern of train services:
Partial Cancellation of Train Services:
1.Train No. 66045 Tambaram – Villupuram MEMU Passenger scheduled to leave Tambaram at 09.45 hrs on 05th, 09th, 18th, 23rd, 25th, 30th August, 2025 will be short terminated at Mundiyampakkam. The train will be partially cancelled between Mundiyampakkama and Villupuram
2.Train no. 66046 Villupuram – Chennai Beach MEMU Passenger scheduled to leave Villupuram at 13.40 hrs on 05th, 09th, 18th, 23rd, 25th, 30th August, 2025 will originate from Mundiyampakkam at 13. 48 hrs. The train will be partially cancelled between Villupuram and Mundiyampakkam
Rescheduling of Train Services:
1.Train No. 22676 Tiruchchirappalli – Chennai Egmore Express scheduled to leave Tiruchchirappalli at 11.00 hrs on 20th August, 2025 will be rescheduled to leave Tiruchchirappalli at 12.45 hrs (Late by 1 hour 45 mins)
2.Train No. 16231 Cuddalore – Mysuru Express scheduled to leave Cuddalore at 15.40 hrs on 20th August, 2025 will be rescheduled to leave Cuddalore at 16.30 hrs (Late by 50 mins)

Diversion of Train Services:
vTrain No. 16128 Guruvayur – Chennai Egmore Express leaving Guruvayur at 23.15 hrs on 04th, 06th, 08th, 10th, 12th, 15th, 17th, 19th August, 2025 will be diverted to run via Kottayam skipping stoppages at Ernakulam Jn, Cherthala and Alappuzha. Additional stoppages will be provided at Kottayam and Chengannur
Rescheduling of Train Services:
vTrain No. 20632 Thiruvananthapuram Central – Mangaluru Central Vande Bharat Express scheduled to leave Thiruvananthapuram Central at 16.05 hrs on 03rd and 10th August, 2025 will be rescheduled to leave Thiruvananthapuram Central at 16.15 hrs (Late by 10 mins)
vTrain No. 20632 Thiruvananthapuram Central – Mangaluru Central Vande Bharat Express scheduled to leave Thiruvananthapuram Central at 16.05 hrs on 02nd and 09th August, 2025 will be rescheduled to leave Thiruvananthapuram Central at 16.50 hrs (Late by 45 mins)
