In connection with the Goods train fire mishap near Tiruvallur, all efforts are being taken by Southern Railway to restore safe train operations in the section. The following are the changes in the pattern of service:
Trains Diverted:
1.Train No. 17651 Chengalpattu – Kacheguda Express that left Chengalpattu at 15.35 hrs on 13th July, 2025 is diverted to run via Chennai Beach, Chennai Egmore, Chennai Beach and Gudur.
2.Train No. 12164 Dr MGR Chennai Central – Lokmanya Tilak Terminus Superfast Express that left 18.25 hrs on 13th July, 2025 is diverted to run via Gudur, Renigunta skipping stoppages at Arakkonam, Tiruttani, Puttur
Train Rescheduled:
1.Train No. 22153 Chennai Egmore – Salem Express scheduled to leave Chennai Egmore at 23.55 hrs on 13th July, 2025 is rescheduled to leave Chennai Egmore 02.00 hrs on 14th July, 2024 (Late by 2 hour 05 mins)
