In connection with the Goods train fire mishap near Tiruvallur, all efforts are being taken by Southern Railway to restore safe train operations in the section. The following are the changes in the pattern of service:
Rescheduling of Train Services:
1.Train No. 12601 Dr MGR Chennai Central – Mangaluru Central Express scheduled to leave Dr MGR Chennai Central at 20.10 hrs on 13th July, 2025 is rescheduled to leave Dr MGR Chennai Central at 23.00 hrs (Late by 2 hours 50 mins)
2.Train No. 12164 Dr MGR Chennai Central – Lokmanya Tilak Terminus Express scheduled to leave Dr MGR Chennai Central at 18.25 hrs on 13th July, 2025 is rescheduled to leave Dr MGR Chennai Central at 19.45 hrs (Late by 1 hour 20 mins)
3.Train No. 12697 Dr MGR Chennai Central – Thiruvananthapuram Central Express scheduled to leave Dr MGR Chennai Central at 17.00 hrs is rescheduled and will originate from Katpadi at 19.00 hrs
