Following the fire accident near Tiruvallur Overhead power supply has been switched off as a safety precaution. All efforts have been taken to put off the fire.
Consequently, the following are changes in the pattern of train services:
Trains Cancelled:
1.Train No. 16053 Dr MGR Chennai Central – Tirupati Express scheduled to leave Dr MGR Chennai Central at 14.25 hrs on 13th July, 2025 is fully cancelled
Change in Origin:
1.Train No. 16203 Dr MGR Chennai Central – Tirupati Express scheduled to leave Dr MGR Chennai Central at 16.35 hrs on 13th July, 2025 will originate from Tiruttani. The train is partially cancelled between Dr MGR Chennai Central and Tiruttani
2.Train No. 22698 Dr MGR Chennai Central – Hubballi Express scheduled to leave Dr MGR Chennai Central at 15.00 hrs on 13th July, 2025 will originate from Jolarpettai. The train is partially cancelled between Dr MGR Chennai Central and Jolarpettai
3.Train No. 16551 Dr MGR Chennai Central – Ashokapuram Express scheduled to leave Dr MGR Chennai Central at 13.35 hrs on 13th July, 2025 will originate from Arakkonam. The train is partially cancelled between Dr MGR Chennai Central and Arakkonam (Earlier it was notified vide press release no: 245 that the train will originate from Katpadi)
Rescheduling of Train Services:
1.Train No. 12695 Dr MGR Chennai Central – Thiruvananthapuram Central Express scheduled to leave Dr MGR Chennai Central at 15.20 hrs on 13th July, 2025 is rescheduled to leave Dr MGR Chennai Central at 18.00 hrs (Late by 2 hours 40 mins)
2.Train No. 22160 Dr MGR Chennai Central – Mumbai CST Express scheduled to leave Dr MGR Chennai Central at 13.15 hrs on 13th July, 2025 is rescheduled to leave Dr MGR Chennai Central at 16.00 hrs (Late by 2 hours 45 mins)
