Changes in the pattern of Train Services-SR Bulletin 8 & 9


Following the fire accident near Tiruvallur Overhead power supply has been switched off as a safety precaution. All efforts have been taken to put off the fire.

Consequently, the following are changes in the pattern of train services:

Trains Cancelled:

1.Train No. 16089 Dr MGR Chennai Central – Jolarpettai Yelagiri Express scheduled to leave Dr MGR Chennai Central at 17.55 hrs o­n 13th July, 2025 is fully cancelled

2.Train No. 12607 Dr MGR Chennai Central – KSR Bengaluru Lalbagh Superfast Express scheduled to leave Dr MGR Chennai Central at 15.30 hrs o­n 13th July, 2025 is fully cancelled

3.Train No. 66038 Nellore – Sullurupeta MEMU Passenger scheduled to leave Nellore at 18.45 hrs o­n 13th July, 2025 is fully cancelled

Trains Short terminated:

1.Train No. 22697 Hubballi – Dr MGR Chennai Central Superfast Express that left Hubballi at 20.25 hrs o­n 12th July, 2025 will be short terminated at Jolarpettai . The train will be partially cancelled between Jolarpettai and Dr MGR Chennai Central

2.Train No. 12028 KSR Bengaluru – Dr MGR Chennai Central Shatabdi Express that left KSR Bengaluru at 06.00 hrs o­n 13th July, 2025 is short terminated at Arakkonam . The train is partially cancelled between Arakkonam and Dr MGR Chennai Central

3.Train No. 12608 KSR Bengaluru – Dr MGR Chennai Central Lalbagh Superfast Express that left KSR Bengaluru at 06.25 hrs o­n 13th July, 2025 is short terminated at Arakkonam. The train is partially cancelled between Arakkonam and Dr MGR Chennai Central

4.Train No. 12698 Thiruvananthapuram Central – Dr MGR Chennai Central that left Thiruvananthapuram Central at 19.15 hrs o­n 12th July, 2025 is short terminated at Katpadi. The train is partially cancelled between Katpadi and  Dr MGR Chennai Central

5.Train No. 12680 Coimbatore – Dr MGR Chennai Central Intercity Express that left Coimbatore at 06.20 hrs o­n 13th July, 2025 is short terminated at Salem. The train is partially cancelled between Salem and Dr MGR Chennai Central

Change in Origin:

1.Train No. 22637 Dr MGR Chennai Central – Mangaluru Central West Coast Express scheduled to leave Dr MGR Chennai Central at 13.25 hrs o­n 13th July, 2025 will originate from Arakkonam at 14.35 hrs. The train is partially cancelled between Dr MGR Chennai Central and Arakkonam

2.Train No. 16551 Dr MGR Chennai Central – Ashokapuram Express scheduled to leave Dr MGR Chennai Central at 13.35 hrs o­n 13th July, 2025 will originate from Katpadi at 15.45 hrs. The train is partially cancelled between Dr MGR Chennai Central and Katpadi
