Changes in the pattern of Train Services-SR Bulletin 7


Following the fire accident near Tiruvallur Overhead power supply has been switched off as a safety precaution. All efforts have been taken to put off the fire.

Consequently, the following are changes in the pattern of train services:

Trains Cancelled:

1.Train No. 12676 Coimbatore – Dr MGR Chennai Central Kovai Superfast scheduled to leave Coimbatore at 15.15 hrs o­n 13th July, 2025 is fully cancelled

2.Train No. 12244 Coimbatore – Dr MGR Chennai Central Shatabdi Express scheduled to leave Coimbatore at 15.05 hrs o­n 13th July, 2025 is fully cancelled

3.Train No. 12679 Dr MGR Chennai Central – Coimbatore Intercity Express scheduled to leave Dr MGR Chennai central at 14.35 hrs o­n 13th July, 2025 is fully cancelled

4.Train No. 20643 Dr MGR Chennai Central – Coimbatore Vande Bharat Express scheduled to leave Dr MGR Chennai Central at 14.15 hrs o­n 13th July, 2025 is fully cancelled

Trains Short terminated:

1.Train No. 20644 Coimbatore – Dr MGR Chennai Central Vande Bharat Express that left Coimbatore at 06.00 hrs o­n 13th July, 2025 is short terminated at Salem. The train is partially cancelled between Salem and Dr MGR Chennai Central

2.Train No. 12680 Coimbatore – Dr MGR Chennai Central Intercity Express that left Coimbatore at 06.20 hrs o­n 13th July, 2025 is short terminated at Salem. The train is partially cancelled between Salem and Dr MGR Chennai Central

3.Train No. 22638 Mangaluru Central – Dr MGR Chennai Central West Coast Express that left Mangaluru Central at 23.45 hrs o­n 12th July, 2025 is short terminated at Katpadi. The train is partially cancelled between Katpadi and Dr MGR Chennai Central

Trains Diverted:

1.Train No. 20678 Vijayawada – Dr MGR Chennai Central Vande Bharat Express scheduled to leave Vijayawada at 15.20 hrs  on 13th July, 2025 is diverted to run via Gudur skipping stoppage at Renigunta

2.Train No. 11017 Lokmanya Tilak Terminus – Karaikal Express that left Lokmanya Tilak Terminus at 13.15 hrs o­n 12th July, 2025 is diverted to run via Arakkonam skipping stoppages between Arakkonam and Tambaram

3.Train No. 09420 Tiruchchirappalli – Ahmedabad Special that left Tiruchchirappalli at 05.45 hrs o­n 13th July, 2025 is diverted to run via Arakkonam, Renigunta skipping stoppages between Tambaram and Arakkonam
