To enhance safety and ensure a comfortable journey for passengers, the existing Conventional rake of the following trains will be converted into LHB (Linke-Hofmann-Busch) Coaches as detailed below.
ØTrain No. 16855/16856 Puducherry – Mangaluru Central – Puducherry Express will run with LHB coaches Ex. Puducherry with effect from 17th July, 2025 & Ex. Mangaluru Central with effect from 18th July, 2025
ØTrain No. 16857/16858 Puducherry – Mangaluru Central – Puducherry Express will run with LHB coaches Ex. Puducherry with effect from 19th July, 2025 & Ex. Mangaluru Central with effect from 20th July, 2025
Consequent to the conversion into LHB coaches, the composition of Train No. 16855/16856 Puducherry – Mangaluru Central - Puducherry & Train No. 16857/16858 Puducherry – Mangaluru Central - Puducherry Express will be revised as 1- AC Two Tier Coach, 2- AC Three Tier Coaches, 9- Sleeper Class Coaches, 4- General Second Class Coaches 1- Second Class Coach (Divyangjan Friendly) & 1- Luggage cum Brake Van
