Special Trains between Hyderabad and Kanniyakumari
South Central Railway has notified for special trains in Hyderabad – Kannayikumari sector to clear extra rush of passengers as given below:
Train No. 07230/07229 Hyderabad – Kanniyakumari – Hyderabad Specials:
Train No. 07230 Hyderabad – Kanniyakumari Special will leave Hyderabad at 17.20 hrs on 02nd, 09th, 16th, 23rd July, 2025 (Wednesdays) and reach Kanniyakumari at 02.30 hrs, the third day (4 Services)
In return direction Train No. 07229 Kanniyakumari – Hyderabad Special will leave Kanniyakumari at 05.15 hrs on 04th, 11th, 18th, 25th July, 2025 (Fridays) and reach Hyderabad at 14.30 hrs, the next day (4 Services)
Coach Composition: 2- AC Two Tier Coaches, 2- AC Three Tier Coaches, 18- Sleeper Class Coaches & 2- Luggage cum Brake Vans

Temporary Augmentation of Express Trains
The following trains will be temporarily augmented with additional coaches as given below:
ØTrain No. 22624 Madurai – Tambaram Express will be temporarily augmented with Three AC 3 Tier Economy Coaches and one Sleeper Class Coach from 03rd July to 27th December, 2025
ØTrain No. 22623 Tambaram – Madurai Express will be temporarily augmented with Three AC 3 Tier Economy Coaches and one Sleeper Class Coach from 04th July to 28th December, 2025
The revised composition after the augmentation will be 1- AC Three Tier Coach, 5- AC Three Tier Economy Coaches, 7- Sleeper Class Coaches, 4- General Second Class Coaches, 1- Second Class Coach (Divyangjan Friendly) & 1- Luggage cum Brake Van

LHB Coaches for Express Trains
To enhance safety and ensure a comfortable journey for passengers, the existing Conventional rake of the following trains will be converted into LHB (Linke-Hofmann-Busch) Coaches as detailed below.
1. Train No. 16361/16362 Ernakulam Jn – Velankanni - Ernakulam Jn Express will run with LHB Coaches Ex. Ernakulam Jn with effect from 07th July, 2025 & Ex. Velankanni with effect from 08th July, 2025
ØConsequent to the conversion in to LHB rakes, the composition of Train No. 16361/16362 Ernakulam Jn – Velankanni - Ernakulam Jn Express will be revised as 1- AC Two Tier Coach, 3- AC Three Tier Coaches, 8- Sleeper Class Coaches, 4- General Second Class Coaches, 1- Second Class Coach (Divyangjan Friendly) &1- Luggage cum Brake Van
