Temporary Augmentation of Express Trains


The following trains will be temporarily augmented with additional coaches as given below:

·Train Nos. 20681/20682 Tambaram – Sengottai – Tambaram Silambu Superfast Express will be temporarily augmented with One AC Two Tier Coach, Two AC Three Tier Coaches, Three Sleeper Class Coaches and o­ne General Second Class Coach Ex. Tambaram from 29.08.2025 to 31.10.2025 & Ex. Sengottai from 30.08.2025 to 01.11.2025

·Train Nos. 22657/22658 Tambaram – Nagercoil – Tambaram Superfast Express will be temporarily augmented with One AC Two Tier Coach, Two AC Three Tier Coaches, Three Sleeper Class Coaches and o­ne General Second Class Coach Ex. Tambaram from 29.08.2025 to 31.10.2025 & Ex. Nagercoil from 30.08.2025 to 01.11.2025

The coach composition after the augmentation will be 1- AC First class cum AC Two Tier Coach, 2- AC Two Tier Coaches, 4- AC Three Tier Coaches, 11- Sleeper Class Coaches, 4- General Second Class Coaches & 2- Second Class Coaches (Divyangjan Friendly)/Luggage cum Brake Vans

·Train Nos. 12695/12696 Dr MGR Chennai Central – Thiruvananthapuram Central – Dr MGR Chennai Central Superfast Express will be temporarily augmented with One AC Two Tier Coach Ex. Dr MGR Chennai Central from 31.08.2025 to 02.11.2025 & Ex. Thiruvananthapuram Central from 01.09.2025 to 03.11.2025

·Train Nos. 22639/22640 Dr MGR Chennai Central – Alappuzha – Dr MGR Chennai Central Superfast Express will be temporarily augmented with One AC Two Tier Coach Ex. Dr MGR Chennai Central from 29.08.2025 to 31.10.2025 & Ex. Alappuzha from 30.08.2025 to 01.11.2025

The coach composition after the augmentation will be 1- AC First class cum AC Two Tier Coach, 3- AC Two Tier Coaches, 3- AC Three Tier Coaches, 10- Sleeper Class Coaches, 4- General Second Class Coaches, 1- Second Class Coach (Divyangjan Friendly) & 1- Luggage cum Brake Van

·Train Nos. 16618/16617 Coimbatore – Rameswaram – Coimbatore Express will be temporarily augmented with One Sleeper Class Coach Ex. Coimbatore from 02.09.2025 to 28.10.2025 & Ex. Rameswaram from 03.09.2025 to 29.10.2025

The coach composition after the augmentation will be 1- AC Two Tier Coach, 6- AC Three Tier Coaches, 7- Sleeper Class Coaches, 4- General Second Class Coaches & 2- Luggage cum Brake Vans
