“Corporate Internet Banking System” has been introduced in Chennai Division from 01.02.2012 for payments relating to Expenditure Bills and PF Bills for the First Time on Southern Railway. By this, the payment to the Vendor/Staff is done almost online as against more than 24 hours in the earlier system of dispatch of softcopy through courier to IDBI.
