PATTERN OF TRAIN SERVICES DUE TO LINE BLOCK * WEST COAST EXPRESS RESCHEDULED * ADDITIONAL STOPPAGES FOR COIMBATORE – TIRUPATI – COIMBATORE EXPRESSES AT ERODE AND TIRUPPUR

PATTERN OF TRAIN SERVICES DUE TO LINE BLOCK

 

Due to Non-interlocked working from on 09.02.11 to 14.02.11 with 3 hrs. line block from 10.45 to 13.45 hrs., following will be the pattern oftrain services on Chennai Egmore – Villupuram section on 9th, 10th, 13th & 14th February 2011.

 

09.02.2011 (Wednesday)

 

1.Train No.12605 MS-TPJ Pallavan Exp. Scheduled to leave Chennai Egmore at 15.45 hrs. is rescheduled to leave Chennai Egmore at 16.30 hrs.

 

10.02.2011 (Thursday)

 

1.Train No.12605 MS-TPJ Pallavan Exp. Scheduled to leave Chennai Egmore at 15.45 hrs. is rescheduled to leave Chennai Egmore at 16.30 hrs.

 

13.02.2011 (Sunday)

 

1.Train No.12605 MS-TPJ Pallavan Exp. Scheduled to leave Chennai Egmore at 15.45 hrs. is rescheduled to leave Chennai Egmore at 16.30 hrs.

2.All the Up and Down trains will be piloted at Melmaruvathur, as a result of which each train will suffer detention to the extent of 30 mts. and all Mail/Express trains will be delayed by 60 to 75 minutes enroute.

 

14.02.2011 (Monday)

 

1.Train No.12605 MS-TPJ Pallavan Exp. Scheduled to leave Chennai Egmore at 15.45 hrs. is rescheduled to leave Chennai Egmore at 16.30 hrs.

2.All the Up and Down trains will be piloted at Melmaruvathur, as a result of which each train will suffer detention to the extent of 30 mts. and all Mail/Express trains will be delayed by 60 to 75 minutes enroute.

 

vOn 09.02.11, 10.02.11, 13.02.11 and 14.02.11, Train No.66043/66044 (old No.107/108) Chennai Beach - Melmaruvathur Passengers (MEMU) will be partially cancelled between Chengalpattu & Melmaruvathur and Train No.66045/66046 (old No.109/110) Melmavurathur – Villupuram – Melmaruvathur Passengers will be fully cancelled.

 


WEST COAST EXPRESS RESCHEDULED

 

Due to line block in connection with engineering work on Katpadi – Jolarpettai section from 9.2.2011 to 7.4.2011, T.No.6627 Chennai Central – Mangalore Express scheduled to leave Chennai Central at 11.30 hrs. will be rescheduled to leave at 12.30 hrs. on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays during the above period.The train will leave Chennai Central at 11.30 hrs. on the remaining days viz. Monday, Wednesday, Saturday & Sunday.

 

ADDITIONAL STOPPAGES FOR COIMBATORE – TIRUPATI – COIMBATORE EXPRESSES AT ERODE AND TIRUPPUR

 

Due to persistent demands from rail users, T.No.12758/12757 Coimbatore – Tirupati – Coimbatore Tri-weekly Superfast Expresses will stop at Erode and Tiruppur on an experimental basis for a period of six months w.e.f. 13.2.2011 ex. Coimbatore and 14.2.2011 ex. Tirupati.
